Now! Reiki for dogs and cats!
What is Reiki ?
Reiki ( pronounced Ray-ki ), is a
natural healing technique involving the placement of hands at or near the body in order to channel energy.
Whilst some regard it as " spiritually guided life force energy " others see it as simply " life force energy
" which is available to all.
Reiki is a technique passed by a series of attunements from a qualified Reiki
Master / Teacher.
The energy may be perceived as warmth or cold, or occasionally as a breeze passing over
them.
Reiki cleanses the body of a build up of toxins, helping to relieve pain, whilst also being excellent
for stress relief by calming the mind and emotions. This allows the acceleration of the body's natural ability to heal
itself. If you or your animal are receiving medical or veterinary treatment, Reiki will help support this. However it is important
to note that Reiki is not an alternative to allopathic medicine but compliments it.
What happens during
a treatment ?
Initially, I will offer the energy to your animal from a distance, allowing it to get used
to both it and me. Once they have settled and are accepting it, I then place my hands on your animal and work with it for
the duration of the time it will accept the energy. This should last about 30 minutes. However, should there be any signs
that your animal is unhappy, either with the Reiki or myself, the treatment will be stopped immediately.
What are
the costs ?
A 30 minute session will cost £25, however, should your animal not be happy receiving
the energy, a nominal charge of £5 is all that will be required
It is important to note that I will not diagnose
or perscribe anything and that you should ensure your animal receives adequate veterinary attention that is required under
The Veterinary Surgery Act of 1966.
Owners, who wish to remain with their animals, whilst not directly receiving
the Reki may still gain benefits being in the same room.
